New to Sonicbids?

Sonicbids is a Social Music Marketing™ platform that connects bands, music promoters, consumer brands and fans. Its community of 350,000 registered artists use the site to connect with 26,000 music promoters and consumer brands around the world like by South By Southwest, Bonnaroo, CMJ Music Marathon, Red Bull, Marriott Hotels and Diesel.  

How do I send my materials to Eurosonic Noorderslag?

Artists interested in performing at the Eurosonic Noorderslag 2013 may complete an online application through our submissions platform partner Sonicbids: www.sonicbids.com/esns2013. Submissions will close on the 1st of September 2012. There are two options for acts submission through Sonicbids:

1. Free submission through Sonicbids: www.sonicbids.com/esns2013 (90 day free trial-membership). After the trail membership ends, your submission with Eurosonic Noorderslag will still be valid.

2. Sonicbids Supersonic membership (180 day membership). Membership fee is 10 dollars (50 dollar reduction). Bands that opt for Sonicbids Supersonic membership and that need to travel over 1000 kilometres to Eurosonic Noorderslag are eligible for one of the 15 available travel bonuses of 1000 euro's.

We will use your Sonicbids Electronic Press Kit (EPK™) to access your music and information. For this reason, please make sure your EPK™ is complete. After the trail period ends, your application with Eurosonic Noorderslag is still valid.

What do I do with my Sonicbids account once I have submitted? 

First, make sure your EPK™ is 100% complete! Update your bio, your gig calendar, add some band photos, upload at least one song and make sure your EPK™ is as close to perfect as possible. First impressions matter most, and when it comes to a promoter reviewing your materials, you want that first impression to be memorable... in a good way! In addition to that, if you’re selected to perform at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2013, we will be using materials from your EPK to populate your artist page on our website, so it’s extra critical that you make sure to update your EPK as best as you can. 
Once that’s all set, use your trial period to get your EPK™ into the hands of promoters, venues, festivals and conferences all around the world. Sonicbids has relationships with more than 30,000 promoters. If you choose to opt out of your Sonicbids membership at any point, Eurosonic Noorderslag will still be able to access your EPK™ for review. 

How do I know if you received my submission OK?

You will be directed to a confirmation page as soon as your submission is processed, where you will also be able to download a printed receipt of your application confirmation. If you are not sure whether you fully completed your application, please contact Sonicbids’ support team for help: www.sonicbids.com/support
