What is the difference between Eurosonic, Noorderslag and the Conference?

The festival Eurosonic takes place on Wednesday 9 , Thursday 10 and Friday 11 January 2013. It is the most important showcase festival for European Talent. Eurosonic acts play at various stages in concert halls, clubs and cafes in the city centre of Groningen.

The Noorderslag festival takes place on Saturday 12 January 2013 in De Oosterpoort in Groningen. This festival gives an overview of Holland’s most important acts chosen either for their remarkable contribution to the music scene or for the fact that they are considered highly talented and promising.

The Eurosonic Noorderslag Conference covers three full days (10-12 January) during the daytime in De Oosterpoort. The programme offers Dutch and English spoken panels, meetings and workshop given by professionals from the European music industry. Conference guests enjoy priority during the Eurosonic and Noorderslag festivals.

If you are registered for the Conference you have access to the complete Eurosonic Noorderslag programme; during the day the Conference, in the evening Eurosonic (Wed/Thur/Fri) and Noorderslag (Sat).
